Ralph Nader on the Ballot

On the way in to school today, I was approached by a guy who asked me to sign a petition to get an independent candidate on the 2004 ballot. The candidate? Ralph Nader.

I almost said "Nader? Are you kidding?" But a thought hit me - the more Democrats who vote for Nader, the less who vote for Kerry. Even though it doesn't make a difference in our state (it will go to Bush no matter what), I signed up as fast as he would let me.
